Piękna muzyka !!!

Конечно, это здорово, как это русский

@alejoeisabel thank you very much for that advice, right now I`m discovering the tango and its awesome.

There is a tango piece composed in the 1911 by Uruguayan composer Rosita Melo. It is very beautiful. It is called "Desde el Alma" Its on YouTube. Sounds similar to Jazz Waltz 2,

@alciefrederic i see what you're saying but i think you miss understood what i meant because during the forties/fifties and you may well know this, america were the main force in jazz and swing music and so stalin asked shostakovich to compete with them and write a jazz song and he thought this was jazz which it wasnt but thats open for debate but everyone still fell head over heels for it.

@TheBinkyfuddlemucker The name of the Suite is not really Jazz Suite No.2 (a common misconception), but Suite for Variety Orchestra, so understandably it's not really jazzy. Besides, the real Jazz Suite is not a suite for jazz music either, but a suite for a jazz orchestra, but still, jazz's influence can be heard.

Considero-o como um dos maiores compositores de todos os tempos, comparando-se a Hector Berlioz e Serguei Prokofiev. Ele é totalmente sublime!!!

he thought this was jazz

it sounds like Christmas time love it!!

A truly wonderful piece I wasnt familiar with Shostakovich's work until a Sky sports Addvert came on TV. Its truly brilliant piece <3

this is very nice:)

That was great, i love it!

Very Godfather-esque. Similar music to Wedding scene in the film...

I want to talk about the word...

@rbs600 the french horn part had 2 flats ... if i remembered correctly :P haha :D

Nice!

This is a fine example of a dark, typically east European waltz, it is one of my favorites.

there isn't any jazz fragment!

Does anyone know what key the Trumpet and French Horn parts are in?

Cantonaaaa

I'm addicted to this song
